SCORING

 

This year we will utilize the expanded capabilities of Golf Genius for scoring.  We will also verify scoring with a hard copy tournament card. Tournament card should be sent to Sue Norton.

 

The designated scorer for each tournament will compare and confirm scoring results with the Golf Genius pairer to ensure accuracy. 

 

Before play one person in each group will be responsible to keep the hard copy tournament card, and one person will enter score into the Golf Genius mobile app.  Any person in the group can do this, hole by hole, for everyone in the group.  (Instructions for entering scores through the Golf Genius mobile app are shown below.)

 

Scores for each hole should be announced to the group, and agreement secured, before teeing off on the next hole. 

 

At the end of the round, verify the scores entered into the Golf Genius mobile app with the hard copy tournament card.  The person with the paper copy will have the card signed and attested and then transmit a copy to Sue Norton.

 

Since scores entered into the Golf Genius mobile app will also be a transmitted to GHIN for handicap purposes, there is no need for players to submit individual scores separately to GHIN, Unless instructed to do so.
