SNEWGA - Southern New England Women's Golf Association

The Southern New England Women's Golf Association, organized in 1956, exists for the promotion of golf for women within the state of Connecticut and neighboring states.

This league allows you to play golf courses throughout the entire state of Connecticut, on courses that you might normally not have the opportunity to play.  Yearly dues are minimal...only $20. You can decide to play in just one event for the year, or as many as you would like.  There are individual events along with team tournaments.  There are a few events this year that are in Fairfield County …Richter Park and Whitney Farms, just to name a few.   Another appealing consideration: SNEWGA events are scheduled on both the weekends, as well as during the week.  So those who are still working…it’s a nice option to have a weekend play offering, an opportunity that some of the other leagues are unable to provide.

SNEWGA membership is open to all women's associations from public, semi-private, and private golf clubs.

There is no handicap limit to join SNEWGA. For tournaments, however, the handicap limit is in compliance with USGA handicap limitations for competitions.
